Since then, we have grown into a group of high school and college students who are dedicated to helping those in need. Increased awareness of the injustices and inequalities that have been all too prevalent throughout the history of the United States has compelled us to employ our passion for crochet and art in order to take a stand for justice. As the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement gains momentum, we aspire to assist the people who have been subjugated by years of systemic oppression in our country. Therefore, all proceeds are donated to a BLM organization of your choice. We will never be able to completely understand the struggles of being Black in America, but we strongly value compassion, empathy, and justice for the oppressed.
Vision: We believe in a future where people are not divided by the color of their skin and where everyone has equal opportunity for success and prosperity. We hope to make a positive impact on our country and inspire others to do the same.
In general, our plushies are made with acrylic yarn and stuffed with polyester filling. Some of our plushies contain safety eyes which may pose as a choking hazard for small children under three years of age. You may request to have embroidered eyes instead of safety eyes. Our plushies are handmade, and are crafted one stitch at a time from original designs and patterns.
